One iconic element that adorned Hopper throughout the film was a distinctive large brass buckle belt with a brown leather strap. This very belt was a crucial part of his ensemble, contributing to his unique and iconic style showcased in the film. It has become a symbol of that era, encapsulating a particular moment in his life and the counterculture of the early 1970s. Inspired by Hopper's legendary belt, we proudly introduce 'The Hopper Belt' as a part of our American Dreamer collection. The buckle is meticulously cast from a substantial 110 grams of solid brass, crafted in precise accordance with Hopper's original buckle. The strap is skillfully created using 100% Italian full-grain bovine leather. We preserve the natural grain and patina of full-grain leather, ensuring each piece embodies a unique, one-of-a-kind appearance. Over time, the leather darkens and its texture softens, creating a timeless, vintage look. Every Hopper Belt is artisanally handcrafted in Italy’s Emilia-Romagna region, where skill meets heritage, resulting in a piece that not only pays homage to a cultural icon but also epitomizes unparalleled craftsmanship and timeless style. Our sandcast buckle belt seeks to pay homage to the rich Southwestern sandcasting tradition and stylistic expression, that has deep roots in Native American culture and artistry. The buckle is crafted from a substantial 160 grams of solid brass, plated with 99.9% pure silver. This combination provides both weight and durability, ensuring longevity, while the pure silver delivers the authentic finish that defines this buckle style. The sandcasting process used for this buckle is renowned for creating pieces with a rugged, textured appearance that captures the natural qualities of the sandstone mold. As a result, no two pieces are ever quite the same. The belt strap is meticulously crafted from Italian leather, and done in accordance to traditional Native American belt straps, where no studs or metal fasteners were used to secure the belt to the buckle. Instead, we used a leather string, which is laced through small holes in the belt strap. This method allows for adjustability and a secure fit while maintaining the traditional and handmade aesthetic of Native American belts. Special features:- Handcrafted in Italy

Throughout the film, Dennis Hopper is seen sporting a peacoat-esque jacket cut from a New Mexico Chimayo blanket done by local artisans. It is this mythical jacket we sought to recreate with a subtle contemporary touch, yet staying true to the craftsmanship and style, inherent to the Chimayo weaving tradition. It has been cut from a 210 cm x 160 cm Chimayo styled blanket, hand loomed in 100% fine New Zealand 2-ply wool and tailored into this meticulously done overcoat.READ MORE

A truly vintage t-shirt means tubular knit. It’s old-school, but to the t-shirt connoisseur, there is NO alternative. The absence of side-seams yields comfort that is unrivaled. It is the original way to produce a t-shirt and the hall-mark of 1950’s style t-shirts. Like the original tees of the 50’s our tees are all done using the same tubular construction with no side seams adding an incredible fit and durability. The shoulders and neck are taped, which adds effort to construction, but provides an extra touch of structure to the garment. In addition we have added double-needle stitching at the sleeves and bottom hem to make it extra durable. Lastly set-in sleeves and a 7/8” set-in rib-collar has been added, which means no visible seams along the neck and shoulders. Done in a sturdy and robust 100% cotton, knitted with a 18/1 threadwidth and preshrunk so it stays true-to-size by reducing shrinkage. The motif has been screen printed using Plastisol ink and heat pressed to our tees in our Copenhagen studio.- Tubular construction with no side seams
