The squat, squarish proportions and single-handle design are inspired by traditional mailbags used in the Americas. These bags typically featured a single handle and a flat back, designed to hang from a horseback saddle or on the back of a cabin door.
Our reinterpretation of the classic mailbag features a wider top for easy access, tapering to a narrower bottom, giving it its signature pentagonal shape. The front flap is saddle-shaped, adding to its rustic charm.
For convenience, there's a small zipped pocket on the back for essentials like keys or cellphones. Inside, the bag is fully lined with soft, 100% cotton twill and includes one zipped pocket, one large iPad/laptop pocket, and two smaller open pockets. All interior pockets are trimmed with leather for added durability and a refined touch.
The body of the bag is crafted from thick, top-grade drum-dyed bovine leather suede, with pebbled leather accents on the front flap, handle, and reinforced double-layered leather bottom. While designed primarily as a hand-carried bag, it also includes an adjustable strap attached to the top gusset for versatility.
