Named after the iconic 'smile'-shaped pockets, often accentuated with contrasting piping or stitching, this design was crafted to add a visually distinctive element to Western shirts, making them truly stand out. While Western wear is deeply rooted in the rugged functionality of cowboy culture and influenced by Mexican vaquero attire, the smile pocket shirt emerged as a symbol of Western flair and individuality. Popularized by rodeo performers and country musicians in the mid-20th century, this pocket style has since become synonymous with classic Western wear. It is with this in mind that we have designed our take on this shirt type, with the aim of giving it a more contemporary spin
